I don't know if others have experienced this.  I happened to pull back the bed plywood on our 2018 177 and noticed that the propane hose and also 120 wire were chewed up by the long, sharp screws that hold some of the wood together by the water pump and go through into the bed frame/panel wood. There are 3 screws that extend almost an inch past the wood panel in an area next to the heater that has water pipes, wires, and the propane hose to heater/water heater. The rubbing from vibrations during travel nearly cut clear through the propane hose insulation and also cut the wire insulation.  Considering the hose is right next to the heater, this could easily have created a massive fire if it leaked when the heater was on.  I can't believe FR would use long screws in this area.

In addition to 177, this is likely to apply to the 178 and possibly other models.  Probably should check your area. I had looked into that area many times, but never noticed the screws.  I put a wood cover to shield everything from them.  Now I need to figure out how easy it will be to replace that section of hose.  I'll post a photo or two.

*Could someone crosspost this post in the Rpod Owers Group who has a membership.  I registered but am waiting to be activated (week plus). Thanks!
