We arrived a day early in preparation for the first annual north west RPod roundup at the Rogue Valley Campgrounds in Oregon. What a beautiful state park. We have a full hookups with 30 amp service, sewer and water. Our RPod tent is up and we are all set to enjoy the next four days with all who attend this roundup.

We drove up from Phoenix, AZ. Had a really great trip. Our Toyota 4Runner makes a really good TV for the RPod. We only encountered two problems. First the vinyl strip that covers the screws on the left side of the RPod pealed off. Seems like it failed somewhere in the middle. Second, the plastic facet assembly in the shower failed internally and will not shut off. At the time we were in KOA campground in Sacramento CA and found a really great RV parts store, i.e. Allied, that was open on Sunday. They had a replacement fixture. An all metal unit. Installed in about 10 minuets. So we are back in business. Looks like there are some quality issues with the RPod... Wonder if the Forest RIver folks monitor this site? Lots of good tips on making a better product.

I will be post roundup pictures in the next couple of days...

It was 87 F when we arrived. Suspect its in the low 80's now. Once the sun goes down it should cool off nicely... our RPod AC works greatWink

Hello from Phoenix!  That bit of cooler weather we had is gone, you couldn't have picker a better time to go!  If you go again next year maybe we can caravan up!  Have fun and update with lots of pics!

Definitely yes... but if its in Oregon again we avoid  traveling through California. Their roads set new standards for bad, the gas is 50 cents more per galloon, and the speed limit for towing a trailer is 55 mph.

Sounds like great weather! Box up a bit and send it to Texas. Cool
