We are camping right now and have just changed the water inlet.  We just turned on the water pump and now there is water coming out from behind the toilet.  It doesn't appear that the water is coming from the toilet though.  Anyone have any advice?

I just stepped out and looked behind the toliet in our 177 and there is a water line running from the back wall into the toliet. This may be the source of the leak.

When you mentioned "changed water inlet" what part are you referring to ?
Do you have city water hooked up ?

We filled the tank no water hook up.  This is the first time camping since the winter.  We had an issue with the water pump not working (we thought) the last time we went camping last year, but when we went into Couch's they suggested changing the water inlet because the old ones are plastic and crack.

We see the water line back there, but not sure how to get to it to check it.

Could it have frozen during the winter and split a fitting or a hose?  You mentioned winter, but just how cold did it get where you are and did you also run antifreeze into the toilet when you winterized?

Yes, I looked underneath the chassis and the area under the bathroom is covered.
Is your model a 2009 ??

Short of having a dedicated shut-off valve to the toliet/shower I believe your options are limited.
It sounds as if a water-line connector is leaking. Thats assuming the water is not from the toliet unit itself. Is the hole where the water line comes into the bathroom (& connects to toliet) sealed around the water line at the wall ?
The bathroom in our unit is on the curb-side, all other water (lines/inlets/waterheater/sink) are on the street side.

Yes - our model is 2009.  It was a pretty cold winter - we are in Ohio.  The hole where the water line comes in is sealed around the water line at the wall.  Given that we had problems with the water pump before winter, I'm thinking that the problem is not the winter but I'm not sure.  We're going to check the storage area underneath to see if there is a panel.  Our R-Pod is 2009 174.

My guess is, if the water line hole is sealed around water line, and the water is collecting behind the toliet, then perhaps it may be a seal or connector related to the toliet ?
Im not sure water could get through the sealed water-line hole, or run along the outside of the water line if its sealed around the water-line.
If you winterized then a non-professional, such as myself, would guess a loose water-line connector or fitting within the toliet. (thats just an uneducated guess)
Such a leak will only appear when the water-pump is on.

If you didnt winterize, and left water in the lines, then a crack or broken connector may be the issue. That is if it got cold enough to freeze the water in the lines.

A malfunctioning water pump wouldn't create a leak in the bathroom.  The most it would do is leak around the pump.

If you've got a leak around the toilet, its most likely a crack in the plumbing somewhere, either the water hose or in the toilet fixture itself.

There is no doubt about it: winterization of your plumbing system is critical in Ohio.
