Does anyone know if the dvd player plays DVDRs?  I have some home made dvds of road trips I have taken and thought they would be cool to bring with.  Also, How many inputs does the system have?  I thought it would be great have a original nintendo to put in the trailer.  make it Retro!!!

Yes, I have the 176 and I tested it out with a DVD-R move I copied, - Death Proof.

I've played some DVDRs without problem.  The 9" Audiovox VE927 in my r-pod has no inputs (apart from cable-in), just audio/video outputs.

As time goes on, fewer players are "picky" (and cheaper players seem to be the least picky), but you may find it will play +R, or -R, or both (hopefully not neither).  Sometimes even brands within each spec (+/-) make a difference.

Dunno if I'll hook up anything old school, but I will probably have one of our gaming systems in there - PS2, PS3, Wii - if there's room for the Wii that is!

There's room for a Wii in a 176 especially with our TV mounted on the wall. Big smile
