Sounds like some folks are choosing to camp a few days after picking up their Rpod.  Great idea- that way if there are any concerns, one could swing back to the dealer before making the trek home.  That said- I've looked at Ohio State Park website.  Campgrounds are listed, but I found it hard to navigate.  I'd much prefer to go on recommendations.  Can anyone recommend campgrounds not far from Couch's?  I'm not limited to a state park, that was just my starting place.

Thanks!

There don't seem to be many campgrounds to choose from.

You can always go to Hueston Woods.  Google it.  It's cheap and has plenty of pull thru sites in case you are still not comfortable with backing in.
Let's hit the road!

Heuston Woods is probably the closest.  If you were heading North, Deer Creek, Hocking Hills (Old Mans Cave), Alum Creek and Mohican are also very nice.  I think you cannot go wrong going to any of the parks though.

Since we plan on camping all the way to Washington, we are going to camp about 30 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky at the Army Corps of Engineer's Moutardier campground on Lake Nolin.  It has full hook-ups so we can try everything out.  It's a little over 3 hours from the greater Cincinnati area.  We will have three to four days playing on the lake and under the ground.
