How about listing a place you have used or that you KNOW (not think) you can spend a night for free. This could help some of our members when they are traveling around the USA or Canada.

I didn't see "Slab City" on the CA list? I've never stayed there but I've read about it and even saw a movie which showed it [the movie was about the young man who left home after college and ended up in remote area of Alaska and died after eating poison berries].
From the movie, it looked like a spot I would want to find if I venture that far from NC with the POD! |

I have been to Slab City. Interesting place for sure. Everything from million dollar motorhomes to tents are there. Even converted school buses.
