We just picked up the 172. Everything is great including getting the last site at Cedarbrook (near Couch's)

I will post some photos when possible.

Kudos to Couch's. Jeff, the owner, took the wheel and tested the towability and braking himself. He then personally gave me a towing and backing lesson since I've never pulled anything.

Nice trailler.  We also got the 172 this past week and love it.

BTW - what are those front stablizer jacks?  IMO, the 172 is wobbly without front stablizer jacks.  I haven't found a decent solution to this minor dilema yet.

My husband used those on our 175 too.   I believe that they are inexpensive jack stands.   He just added scissor jacks mounted on the back after raising everything up with axle risers so we wouldn't keep bottoming out in the driveway.   He is talking about putting scissor jacks up front too.

Those are indeed the inexpense jack stands on the front.  Bought a set of 4 from Wal Mart.

They added a lot of stability to the unit.  I'm still considering the scissor jacks for leveling.

I wish my 172 had windows in the front.   Even a skylight above the top bunk would be great.  However, here's the fine print under the floor plan:

"Floor plans and specifications are based on the latest product information.

specifications at any time without notice and assumes no responsibility for any errors in the site.

I didn't realize that windows were even on the floorplan picture.  The 172 only has three windows...all in the back.

I'm debating adding a large window up front, where the dinnette is on the 171.  Then again, we are usually outside.
