On our third trip in the Rpod, our microwave died. We put in our oatmeal for breakfast and hit the buttons. The light came on, the turntable turned, the timer dinged, and out came our oatmeal - ice cold. Tried again - in fact we tried 10 more times with no luck. I contacted the dealer (Howard RV in Wilmington, NC) and they ordered a replacement for us under warranty. We just picked it up and I'll install it tonight so it will be ready for our weekend trip. I guess these microwaves have been causing a few problems. I'm really not impressed with ours, especially for the price we paid for it. We have a Sunbeam with convection element. On a brighter note, I have to give thanks to my friends at Howard RV. You couldn't ask for a better dealership and group of people. If you are looking to buy an Rpod in the Wilmington NC area, be sure to give them a call.

Had a similar problem with ours. The convection part quit working while under warranty. Our dealer got a new one from FR and installed it. Coming up on a year with the second one so we will see. It if goes south, may turn that area into storage, or find a better unit. Rob
