One sure way to check is feel the outside lens with the light on. If it gets hot it is NOT a LED.

Another way is to open the cover. Grab the lens like you are holding a baseball and gently squeeze the long sides towards each other. The small fixtures have one bulb and the larger ones have two. We took one of the bulbs out of the fixture above our bed this past weekend, too much light when the kids are in bed.

Actually, with the cover they look like LED lights. No Worries

I was also told the inside lights were LED. |

I'll admit mine look like they are LEDs through the lens, but when I pulled the cover off... they weren't.

I have no LED lights inside the POD. We have a very early 2010 model 172
