So today.. added a conversion kit to the Fantastic Fan, which of course is already Fantastic..
But Like most podders, we roll with dogs. And we worry about hot weather camping and the a/c going down, tripping a breaker or losing shore power.. What we have been doing is leaving the windows open on the dome side, and the vent open. So that some air flow would happen in an emergency. Not ideal. So I ordered the 6000R/417 upgrade for the FF.. It's the bombdiggity for sure. Took about 20 minutes to instal. It has reverse flow, rain sensor, and fully automatic operation. So IF the a/c quits, the vent will come on at a pre-set temperature, and turn back off if the a/c comes back on.. here is a quick video of it coming on and opening.. Fantastic Fan |

Is this a complete swap out of the fan with just a simple electrical hook up or something different ?
We have the "auto-on" feature on our model but only 3 speeds "outbound". On our previous camper we had the ability to change the direction of air flow and I miss that ... Thanks ... MJ |
