Looks like we'll be at Green River State Park then, enjoying hopefully brisk cool mornings and nights by the waterfront.

Heheh, we'll exchange pics on facebook with you all during the weekend, we can Rally together via the internet!

We have just reserved site #35 at Big Bone Lick, in Northern Kentucky, for the dates of Sept. 20-23. Checking out on Sept. 24.
Be aware that there is a hill which you have to go up in order to get to the campground. Perhaps someone who has been there will chime in and let us know what it was like with their vehicle. We have no trouble with our F150. We also camped there many years ago pulling our popup with a car.

And NO...I will not be the UnLeader because I signed up first.

EDIT: I am going to start another Topic for this.

However you all drive in don't come in on KY-14, there is a hill there that nearly did the MoosePod and jeep in.

The one actually going into the campground is really no big deal I don't think, we made it up that one easily enough in the Jeep!

Travis, would you copy this to the topic that I just posted concerning the rally?

Good thing we had our rally when we did. It is 103 degrees here today in Kentucky with a heat index of 113. Shewww.

Just bought one of those little misting devices you attach to a water hose so if it stays hot, we're ready.
Actually we got two, one to cool off our chickens who are suffering in this heat.
In the end there's just a song comes cryin up the night

We had two misters running this weekend when temps were 105 and 103, it helped incredibly with a nice fan behind them blowing!

Hi All!  Thanks for all the photos from the roundup.  We made it to Colorado Springs and back before the fires got bad.  Picked up our new car, a Nissan Leaf, and we are blogging about it here: http://www.kyleaf.com/wp/  Check it out if you get bored.  We received a recall letter for the fancy lights, so I guess we will drop the pod off at Northside soon.  Need to replace both rear jacks, backed them into too many hill sides.  See y'all next time

We enjoyed getting to meet you at the rally. So glad you made it back safely. Check out the Northern KY Rally at Big Bone Lick in September. We would love to see you again. At this point we have 9 groups coming. Pods and Friends. :)
