Hi,
Not quite rocket science so we have a 171 and I wonder what folks use for dealing with the garbage in side. |

We have the 177, a little plastic garbage pail sits quite nicely between the fridge and the seat for the table.

No such space in the 171. We bought three over the door hooks for the bathroom door. Two face inward for towels. The middle one faces outward to hang a plastic grocery bag for garbage. It doesn't hold much. And when full it causes a bulge in the narrowest part of the "hallway". So we take garbage out often. (We have a dog that needs frequent walking, so the dumpsters make a handy destination for that.) |

We hang a looped grocery bag on a hook to the left above the door side seat above the window. While ugly, it doesn't interfere with using the seat or the door. We walk Wee Willy frequently and the easily visible bag doesn't crowd the narrow passage between the kitchen and spa door.

We do a grocery plastic bag, hung on a suction cup hook outside the camper, no trash bag inside. When cooking, if needed, I will hang from the bathroom door, just until done, then back outside it goes.

Thanks every one, we were thinking along the same lines right down to walking the yorkies.
The 171 might be tight but we just upgraded from a 13 ft scamp so the 171 is like a marriot on wheels. |

Sanitation wise, this is a good practice but don't invite unwanted visitors during the night. I still remember seeing tents in the Smokies being ripped open by bears looking for food. Even here in Florida, bears and other wildlife can be attracted. |

We do the same as Ron and Shirley with our 177. A small garbage pail between the fridge and the seat of the table is a perfect location. For anything smelly a coffee can w/plastic lid is stored under the fridge behind the webbing.
