Jensen's RV of Cadillac will be donating a camp chair for our Thursday night giveaway.

Old Mission Tours has one van filled for the Friday afternoon vineyard tour and they have another van available for us, so if you'd like to see the wine country this is a great way to go. Call them at 231-883-8687 and be sure to tell them you're with the Eastern Roundup group.

Site 213 is full, and we are now officially overflowing. We have another podder staying elsewhere in the park. If someone cancels they'll move into our reserved area.

So if you're thinking of coming don't hesitate to call the campground, they may have sites open.

If you missed the reservation period, site 213 has opened up. Call the campground to reserve at (231) 943-4410.

Another place you may want to visit is Friske Orchards in nearby Atwood. They have over 300 acres of orchard, a cafe, and lots of Michigan made goods for sale.

Just got off the phone with Jason Rogers of Pahaque Customs. He will be providing us with a new silver and green visor for a giveaway prize. This visor will fit any rpod 2011 or newer as is. If your pod is older, you'll need a different size keder tape sewn on the visor or different rail on the pod. Easy fixes.

A couple of updates and changes to pass along. Bruce Bacon of Bauer Products will be visiting our rally on Thursday the 16th during our hot dog roast. Bauer supplies the locks to Forest River, and during his visit Bruce will be demonstrating two products: one is locks keyed alike so the same key opens both your entrance door and your storage compartments. The other is their very latest keyless entry system. Bruce has offered to donate several sets of each product for us to give away. With this in mind, we'll be moving our previously scheduled Saturday drawing to Thursday night. In addition to the Bauer locks, we'll be giving away various Michigan made goodies. I'll update our schedule in the pinned post ASAP. In the meantime, below are some links to Bauer's products you'll be seeing in Traverse City.

Between your Koegel's and our 1/5 lb. black angus dogs, that would hardly be a bribe.  With that he may donate a few extra sets.LOL

Site 162 has been filled, but there's still sites available.

There will be an installation demo of the latest Bauer keyless lock system on Thursday night during the hot dog roast. Bauer has also agreed to donate two more sets, which we will draw for on Saturday night, along with other Michigan made goodies. The Bauer rep may be available to install the locks for the lucky winners if we bribe him with hot dogs. If not, there are enough of us around that we will install the locks for you if you trust us enough.

We've had another podder book site 167, and also site 162 has opened up. If you're interested in booking site 162 call Dawn at the park. She's suggested that if the sited doesn't fill up in a reasonable time, she'll move everyone on the right side up to fill in the gap.

Okay podders all our reserved sites are now full. If you're still interested there may be sites open elsewhere in the park, so don't be afraid to call. The newest map is posted below. Another possible fun activity has come to my attention: Paddle for Pints, a microbrewery tour via kayak. There are 3 tours during our ERU, kayaks are available for rent if needed. Details below.

Thursday June 16

Hot dog roast/meet and greet, site #224, 5:00 PM. Dogs, buns, condiments and campfire courtesy of the Tollefsons and Mowerys. Bring chips, salsa, guacamole, etc., or other simple go withs for yourself if desired. Also bring place setting, favorite beverages, s’mores stuff and a chair. Stories may be shared, true or not. If we’ve heard your jokes before we’ll pretend we haven’t. After-dog drawings for free Michigan made goodies. Not sure exactly what yet, we have some stuff already but it will be a work in progress until the last minute. Trust us, you’ll like it.

Friday June 17

Guided vineyard and brewery tour & tasting. See details in previous post.

Saturday June 18

Free time. Go, see, do. Informal evening campfire gathering at site #224. Bring campfire food if desired. Paddle for Pints brewery tour via kayak 11:00, 12:15, and 1:30. Tickets and info at paddleforpints.com or see their Facebook page.

Sunday June 19

Last official day, no scheduled activities as it's goodbye for some.
