Hi all, just purchased a 2010 177 🤗👍🏻' planning a quick trip this weekend. We are complete neophytes in terms of towing, and have only had motor homes before, and a ttent trailerfor 5 minutes.
Trying to figure out where the intermittent alarm beeping is coming from? Not connected to electricity, when it comes on the seller just hit the slide out switch ?? From my research on this forum, it could be the fridge, the lp alarm or some other electrical plug alarm . Today I will be trying to figure it out....don't want that 3am wake up call. Any insights welcome. Also just sent an email to Susan at fr re: running light recall in Canada,, but we are the 2nd owners, not sure if they will do it. |

If the alarm sounded when the slide motor was in operation, you can be sure it was low voltage at the propane alarm, on the front of the dinette seat. Your smoke and cO sensors are 9v batteries. And your "vintage" fridge, doesn't beep. (it's a good thing). Check the status of your battery, make sure it is taking and holding a charge.
The recall will be handled even if you are the 10th owner. Has nothing to do with age, or ownership. Was a manufacturing error that must be completed by law. |

Thank you! No the slide was not operation when the alarm went off. The trailer was not plugged in though, so maybe it is the battery. I have just replaced all the lights with LED bulbs. Waiting for it to get dark to see if they will be bright enough.
