Pioneer 560s, 300 watts, seem to be speaker of choice. You will need spacers, not a direct fit. Also opinion is don't expect much due to Pod construction and RMS head output of 4 watts per channel.

mcarter, you seem to be my go-to advisor!I don't understand your last statement. I don't know a watt from an amp. Have you replaced speakers in yours? So the Pioneer speakers you mentioned will work, and be an improvement in the quality of sound, or should I just not bother?

Oliver,
I have not because I couldn't hear the difference, bad hearing. The speakers I recommended were the most mentioned improvement on the forums I am a member of, also reasonable. The members that have used them cited an improvement. Remember the spacer part.

Ok, Sorry about your hearing. While here I have a couple other problems maybe you can help me with. I disconnected the tv and now don't know how to connect it back up. First, I found two unconnected cable connections dangling behind the wall, marked to tv 2 and to tv3. I'm thinking these are for additional tv's?? Then, there is audio out L and R from the TV with one wall plug, where does it go, to TV1? Then, under the tv is a line of colored plugs.orange, red, white, green, blue, red.I only have red yellow and white. there is no yellow on the tv. also what goes into the other two wall outlets, video, right, left...and satellite and tv1.
Then I have removed the little sink in bathroom. But the part of the little pvc pipe that goes out into the shower space won't budge, it's glued in I guess, but it won't allow me to cover the hole. Should I just cut it off and plug it up? The top plug did screw off...it looks vented...?maybe I could put it on the top when I cut it...? |

I will tell you how my TV is configured ASAP, it's raining hard here. The sink, I can't help you with much, I never removed mine.

Oliver,
Did you disconnect something in the wall and not record where it was connected? My Pod has a AMP/RF outlet and a Audio/Visual Outlet both of which are fairly simple to reconnect. I don't have anything that resembles what you are talking about - external to the wall. I learned a long time ago to not take apart things that work, that can make them broke. There is no wiring diagrams to a Pod. You have to be careful if you disconnect things to record how it was connected. I have no issues with helping you, but need to have a starting point.

To your first question..guilty! I took the tv out because it's connected to the shower and I was going to take the whole thing out...until you talked some sense into me. I'll connect what I believe to be correct and if it's still not working, I'll let ya know. I did put in some nice speakers from Walmart. Can't really tell much difference. And I found the post about bathroom sink...Thanks. Did it stop raining?

OK, Oliver, you learned a lesson. The speaker issue has a lot to do with what drives them, so a big improvement would be unexpected. Figured you would see the sink drain issue. Still here to help, but be patient and plan your moves, just advice, my friend.

Oliver,
I pulled my AMP outlet today and your description of wiring does not match mine. What year is your Pod?
