Greetings.
Would it be wise to buy an older R Pod and fix it up like one would like instead of buying a new model? I have seen a few older units that could be had for a pretty good savings and then upgrade to fit my needs. Don't know anything about the older models. Your thoughts please. Thanks, Gary

I have a 2015 178. I have added many of the new accessories to mine. It is every bit as capable and comfortable as a new 178 at a substantial savings in my opinion. If you buy a new one you will mod it to fit your needs.

I'm a believer in saving money and newer isnt always better especially for cost difference and frequency of use. Why spend $20K+ to camp several times a year if you can spend half that? Although...be very careful and look for evidence of water leaks. Water infiltration is a campers worst enemy. Good luck
