Replaced batteries

   I finally replaced my one battery with 2 GC batteries. It was not easy on my model (171) I had to make some changes. But I'm pleased with the result. Now I wish someone would tell me how they work? If I'm hooked up to shore power, are the batteries being charged? If I am on the road, are they being charged then? I'm guessing the tow vehicle is charging them, right? Also I wish someone would tell me what brand and watts to get in purchasing a suitcase solar kit. Mine is wired for solar, so I'm guessing I just have to plug it in, and assuming there is enough sun, it will keep the 2 GC batteries charged?
