I replaced my factory battery with two 6V Golf Cart batteries, with the idea of getting prepared for solar. My Pod is solar wired. I need to know what amp panels I need. The panels charge the batteries right? And they in turn run small things like fan, lights? I might go boondocking and want to be prepared. I'm a newbie to solar, so take it easy on me! Also, is Renolgy(sp) a good alternative to the expensive Zamp panels?

Coincidentally, I have just completed a Solar panel install and a few minutes ago posted it in the modifications section. My installation was challenging and may not be for everyone but that is what I generally do and it keeps me out of mischief. I used all Renogy products and was very impressed with the degree of quality on all of their parts, but time will tell if I made the right choice.
