I also have had a time with my lock. At first I could not even get it open, the dealer had to do it for me when I went to pick it up. It is easier to open, but I still have a little trouble. I thought it was just me...........

Just wondering if your 2008 Wrangler Rubicon was a 2 door or 4 door and how it pulls your 172.
