Anyone having problems with the entry door locks? I have to 'work' the key for a while before the lock opens up. It took several minutes the other day to get it to open...

Put a shot of wd-40 in the lock - that will loosen it right up. Those type of locks have a tendency to develop a little corrosion that makes them hard to open... WD40 will fix you right up. |

Nice...I personally prefer Silcone Spray but it does the same thing...lubricates...works great on other locks...like your front door. |

WD-40 = Water Displacement, 40th. formula. It kind of works as a lubricant but that isn't what it was meant to be used for.

TRIED WD 40 AND ALOT OF PATIENCE,LOCK STILL WOULD NOT RELEASE.HAD LOCKSMITH OUT.TOOK HIM ABOUT 10 MINUTES TOO "WORK"LOCK,FINALLY GOT OPEN,SAID MANUFACTURES DEFECT...BOLT FOR BOTTOM LOCK IS LONGER THAN OPENING IT GOES IN WHICH MAKES LOCK JAM UP...TAKE TO DEALER/REPAIR TO HAVE CORRECTED.
HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE ELSE HAVING ISSUES .

Silicon would actually be a better lubricant for the locks ... JJ2Spirit did you contact the dealer yet to get your lock replaced? They can probably send to you, it is not difficult to swap it out.
