I  misunderstood what your TV was.  A Tacoma should work well.

Yeah it is still a smaller truck but with the tow package its rated at for 6600 lbs towing. Should still give me several thousand pounds in wiggle room once the Rpod is hooked up and loaded. Im so excited about my new Pod.
Lets get lost.

Welcome to the R-Pod world!  I think you will like your 180 with the flat entrance to the bathroom and the nice shower.  I just did a walk though of 1 at a RV show.  My F-150 is rated for 6800 and it has worked great with a 171 and now a 179.  I travel both freeways and secondary roads many of which are rough.  I've had no issues with either unit.  My R-179 is a 2015, so I've used it for 2 seasons and around 120 nights.  I highly recommend the 4 inch factory lift kit.  It prevents any dragging that can happen with the standard height.  Safe travels

Is there anyone out there that is pulling your R-pod with a nissan frontier.
are you having trouble with the crappy turning radius.
I have a 2017 frontier the turning radius sucks.

Turning radius is directly related to wheel base.  My f-150 has a 141 inch wheel base (8 foot box). Yep, takes room to turn.

We tow a 2017 Rpod 180 (2,867 lbs empty, maybe 3,500 loaded) with a 2013 Nissan Xterra 4x4 4.0L V6 with a anti-sway bar from Harbor freight. We installed the Curt hitch ourselves. Had the trailer brakes installed by the dealer. We installed air bags to be able to raise and lower for a level ride. Nissan is rated for 5,000 lbs tow load. It pulls fantastic up and down the Cascades and Rockies. 13 - 17 mpg. The longest trip we took in our Rpods was from Oregon to Mississippi and back approx 6,000 miles. Of course we drive with mud and snow tires here in Oregon. The Hood River package had larger tires and a lift on the trailer. Before the RP180 we had a 2016 RP179. The dry bathroom turned us onto the 180. Driving to the Grand Canyon made a believer out of us to install a sway bar as the winds tossed us all around. Best to be over powered on the TV than under powered. Be safe out there.

I have a 2016 nissan frontier 4.0 liter v6 4x4 6100lb tow.
I am towing 2016 rpod 177, I have no problem towing the trailer
near the top of the santiam pass I let all of the cars go by in the passing lane then i pulled in passing
lane I wanted see what the truck would do passing a ford f150 pulling a trailer I ran up to 80 in no time thats not the problem.
I be long to consumers report they say that the frontiers tuning radius is a problem
