If anyone is interested in having a roundup in Wisconsin Dells in May or July let me know, and I'll get more information if there is enough interest.  Can't make it in June...going to the KY roundupThumbs Up

We live in the Dells area less then 3 miles from the downtown area.  There are several campgrounds in the area.  We have stayed at a couple of state parks years ago, and in the last year at the Bonanza in Lake Delton, the Fox Hills campground, Edge-o-Dells (all adult), and Holiday Shores before putting roots here.  The sky is the limit for what ever everyone is interested in.  The area has A LOT to offer for adults and families, and the area is absolutely beautiful with hiking and bike trails.  The Fox Hills campground is our favorite of the private campgrounds.  Not as large or crammed together.  The state campgrounds are nice, but the bath houses are located in one central location and not convenient for those who prefer to use them.  A lot of the campgrounds are family oriented and offer a lot for kids and the big kids too.LOL

Smile Wisconsin Dells would be a great place! Would love to get together with fellow  POD-DERS.
Hopefully we can make it happen sometime in 2010.

I'll do a separate post and see how much interest we get.  The Texas roundup had only 3, and they had a great time.

If you do it in early Fall, we may be able to attend. We have never seen Wisconsin.

We hope to be able to squeeze in a long weekend next Spring.

Camping with my son (13) is a priority for us, but we'll be doing that in the many campsites
available in Central Illinois. His name is Ian (Rusty) and he is Autistic, so we want to begin his
camping experiences with us close to home next Spring.

Ive been googling your DELLS area and have checked out a few places.
Ill check out the places you have mentioned too !!!

I have also had thoughts about a thread where we could post future camping reservations so that other podders could join in - even if it was just an overnight or weekend adventure.  Sometimes small groups are great to really get the time to get to know fellow podders.
