Yizit has pretty much summed it up. Yes, I do believe that the extended warranty is through a different company, therefore any repairs required while using this Extd Warnty is no different when taking your RV in for service than if someone takes in their 1995 RV in for service. To the dealer it's business, and they will get paid for what they do.

We ended up buying our 177 locally but only because the dealer would match an out of state offer + the cost to transport, which turned out to be about 3.5k less than they were selling it for. But when I say locally, it's a joke. The dealer is over 3 hours away from me and may as well be out of state. However, there is an FR dealer closer to me (only 1 hour away) but they don't sell pods. I'm assuming they'll want the repair/service money, especially in this economy.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I honestly can't see a local dealer refusing money and ticking off a potential customer. RVers tend to get with other RVers and word of mouth can kill a business, or at least make it weep :P
