The Cumberland Gap National Park Campground is in Virginia.  The Park straddles Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.  The Park is near Middlesborough Tennessee.  The small town of Cumberland Gap is two miles from the park.

The campground offers some electric hookups and lots of sites without electricity.  There are usually enough sites with electric to accommodate those needing the hook up except during the July 4th season.  The weather is usually cool when we've been there except this year when it was in the 90's (we attend my wifes family reunion in the park each year on July 3rd).  The sites are wooded and level.  There is a fire ring and picnic table for each site.  Also central bathrooms with showers.

The park has various trails and overlooks.  There is an abandon settlement tour on the top of one of the mountains and a cave tour.  The visitor's center is near Middlesbourough Tennessee.

I will be glad to answer any questions or give more details for anyone interestedl.
Bill
