I had my first run in with a sloped pad this weekend.  It made me really nervous with my plastic chocks.   Is there any way to lock the brakes to prevent sliding?

YOU CAN LOCK THE BRAKES, BUT WHY NOT USE SOME WHEEL CHOCKS.
You can pick some up for @ $6.00 apiece. Using the brake switch to lock the brakes could drain your battery.

I am using the plastic wheel chocks but I don't trust them when there is a cliff behind me on an incline....lol.

Where is the brake switch located?

Thanks

Hi.  The brake swtch is part of the vehicle's braking system that operates the brake lights.  The breakaway switch on the front yoke is to engage the brakes in an emergency in the event the hitch separates. The electric brakes are not intended for sustained braking.  They are sure to overheat and will definitely draw the battery down if left on for more than a few minutes.  You'd better use chocks.  The leveling jacks will also serve to keep the trailer from drifting.
