My 2010 RP-151 Saga Continues

   Absolutely, without a shadow of doubt, the worse camper I've ever owned.  This was purchased in January 2010 and has seen the following issues, some of which have not be corrected as of yet.

#1 - Both complete windows/frames on the door side needed to be replaced because of installation errors.
#2 - LP tank "pings or dings" when propane is flowing, for example, when the heater is running.
#3 - Front decals blistered and peeling off.
#4 - Fan/AC blower motor squeals violently.

I've owned many campers in my lifetime (pop-ups and travel trailers) and this is, by far, the worse unit I've ever owned.  It's been plagued with issues and the build-quality is so sub-standard, I'm almost afraid to travel with it.

If anyone is interested in a 2010 RP-151 at a great price (and with the axle riser installed), please let me know and I'll guarantee we'll be able to work out a great deal.  I own this outright, so I'm able to be more flexible in my negotiating.

To those who are looking to purchase a new R-Pod, please take your time when inspecting the unit.  Look everywhere and open everything.  Remove any "non-removable" seat boards and look inside to make sure you see how your particular unit was constructed.

	Although I'm saddened to read about other's recent negative issues and situations with their R-Pods, I am so glad they're speaking up and passing the word of their displeasure with the camper, the company and the dealer. Up until recently, saying anything negative on both R-Pod message boards, brought nothing but the wrath of satisfied consumers laying the smackdown on those like me who've had nothing with disappointment and hardship with their R-Pods. I'm pleased to see that seems to be changing and the real build quality (or should I say, lack thereof) of these units and the p*ss-poor service of many dealerships is now coming to light. Hang in there folks. Don't settle on being screwed by FR or your dealer. Stand up for what you paid for and your rights as a consumer.

	After a year of owning a 151 model...things seem to be settling down. I suggest the following to all R-Pod owners: if the table is used as part of the bed foundation...immediately replace the screws that hold the wooden 'table support flanges' to the dinette seat bases with 'through-bolts'...the short screws pulled out of the flanges, the table (and I) fell to the floor. Pull out all of the drawers and look at the plastic hardware used...two of my drawers had screws jammed through and splitting the plastic hardware (and wood stiles) rather than positioned in the designed holes. Open all access doors to the plumbing and check the 'screw-on' fittings which join water pipes together. My unit had three joints which were loosely finger tightened and came apart after several trips. Luckily I was in the unit when the joints popped loose...I quickly turned off the pump. A couple of wrenches and gentle tightening...no more flooding! I have not had any catastrophic situations, but it seems that FR does not have any quality control personnel...the company seems to rely totally on the assemblers. Units are sent out in pretty good condition or the unit has multiple major flaws.
