I'm comparing these 2 types. Are they basically the same as far as quality and durability? Or is one better than the other?

We have not owned an MPG.. doubt many have had both to give a solid answer.. We looked at an MPG the same weekend we looked at the Pods, and thought they were comparable. The MPG dealer was not in the mood to do any "dealing", and I honestly thought he didn't want to sell either of the ones he had at all. The Pod dealer was the exact opposite. Spent about 2 hours just showing us and talking the good and bad of the small trailer in general, and Pods in particular, once we decided that we wanted a 177, he had very good numbers to us in minutes. We bought it Monday morning after the bank opened.

1 thing I do know, the word is that the MPG is already out of production. Could mean good deals can be found. Could mean support and community will be lacking.

Good luck in your search/decision.

What furpod said.

I also bought a RP177. I had a very good experience with a knowledgeable, motivated dealer. I got exactly what I wanted for a price that I considered more than fair.

OK, I admit it. I mostly went with the R-Pod just to be able to hang out with the people on this forum. Wink

By the way, welcome to the forum mtran868. Hoping you become a fellow R-Pod owner, but whether or not, you're among friends.
