For our 1st outing in 2012 we took a long weekend (Friday March 30 - Tuesday April 3) at Grandview Sandbar camping area in the New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia. We had the campground to ourselves the whole time! Nice temps too: 70's in the daytime, down to 42 at night.
Great first outing of the year!  |

Welcome friend! I've not been to the New River Gorge camping area (yet). Did you buy your R-Pod in Beckley, by the way? American Campers have had a few of them from time to time.

We did buy our r-pod at American Campers. We bought it in June 2010 and it picked it up from them the day after it came off the assembly line. We love it!
