Had locksmith come and get deadbolt to open, took trailer into rv dealer, whole new door catch assembly was installed and the bill for the locksmith was repaid. Very pleased with my RV dealer (when door issuse is resolved in fall I will let everyone know the dealer name, if that is allowed.) I will post on proper wall how to open deadbolt. Thanks all for your advice.

The mechanic at my RV place said that during construction of our pod, one of the spacers they use for the door frame might have fallen out and wasn't noticed.. And that this fall when we are done camping and they take a look at it most likely they will be able to fix it. Time will tell.

Ok folks, the door issue is fixed... I think.. next spring/summer will tell, we are storing the pod shortly, but for now I am very pleased. The tech guy at travel-mor ottawa said that the door was not installed "square" he removed the whole door frame and re-hung the door (the out of square door also was the problem with my door handle not operating smoothly, which makes sense.) Anyway both doors now run in a straight line down with the door frame. Also another major problem arose while the pod was in for the door... I had noticed the back door side corner didn't seem to be finished and looked wierd.. Apparently 2 screws had broken and that corner had sagged a little. They removed the back lower track for the dome, squared away the floor put in new longer screws and replaced all pieces, caulked everything and now looks like it should. Thank goodness this was a dry year, there was no wood rot from wet roads. I am really pleased with how I was treated and how well the work was done with my pod... Thanks Travel-Mor of Ottawa.

Welcome summer.. got the "EHH R" pod home, dewinterized and ready for our first outing of 5 days after our May 24.. longweekend. Just wanted you all to know that the door, and locks are as smooth as melted butter. The locks now are "very" slick and smooth when being used, no gaps between door and frame, my hockey team "the leafs" are still playing hockey.. all is right with the world....Can't wait to go camping...

Ron - Thanks. We've been spammer-free for awhile now. However, I don't mind telling you, I was thinking they had gotten the best of me for awhile early-on.

Take care,
