Here is a pic of our first outing in our "new" 2010 171 a couple of weekends ago. Must say campers are a vast improvement over tents! Especially with the a/c in excruciatingly hot weather or in the middle of the night when a violent storm blows through! We love it!
Hope to see some of you out and about though from what I can tell, there isn't anyone down here in my neck of the woods (Florida panhandle) - we will be venturing up into north GA next month (can't wait!) Still working on mods, and kinks (mostly from not knowing what we are doing since it's our first camper - even though you all have been a GREAT help in that respect) but getting there is half the fun! |

I'd love to visit the gulf coast of Florida...we're a ways away though.

One of my "to do" trips is to go to Nashville and then down the Natchez Trail and to float around the Panhandle. Wondering if it's warm enough in that area to make it a winter trip.
When I have visitors at my house, they all want to tour the Pod. Yesterday in my conversation with a visitor, I said that it's sorta like an adult dollhouse....it's been so much fun to "fix it up"!

IPodAlong: The last few years in only got down below 40 a few times here - there were a couple (really only two) times it got below 30, so I'd really think it would be great with the rpod...we used to camp in the winter here in the tent, though we did use an electric blanket between the ground pad and the sleeping bags. I plan to do a lot this winter since our busy season (we have a catering business - so it's wedding season) is from March to November. So maybe we'll run into each other one day.
Jasanders: Yes, I don't think we could get any further away! |

If I decide to do that, I'll search out this thread and send you a message! Thanks for the info.
