We area unit taking our children on vacation within the 1st week of April for his or her respite. we would like to travel to a Sunshine State beach with temps in a minimum of the lower 80's, and many of sunshine a day. Avoiding the crazy faculty spring-breakers would be a and, however i am not aiming to let that drive ME removed from an excellent vacant spot either. ne'er been to Sunshine State before, thus i am in serious analysis mode. Any ideas?

Waiting for someone more knowledgeable than I to respond, but I'll go ahead and put my $.02 in...

Having traveled to Florida many times over the years, I think I can say with some confidence that you'll find the temperatures to your liking, particularly in south Florida, in early April. If I recall correctly, spring break occurs in March (check - don't take it for granted).

I can personally recommend Daytona, Miami & Ft. Lauderdale on the Atlantic side and Tampa on the gulf coast. But there's so many more to choose from.

Just hang on here a bit, and somebody from the deep south will tell you all about it!

stay away from daytona and cocoa beach at spring break time.  a little south of cocoa is melbourne beach.  great family beach, few if any spring breakers, free parking.  we live in st. cloud, so we go there as our beach of choice.
