Well, Forest river would not reply back to my e-mails letting me know why the fridge is over three years old in a brand new camper. I called Dometic again, and they said forest river must have bought to many fridges of that model and are still building new campers with them. Guess this explains why I had to take the camper back to the dealer because the gas wouldn't ignite. Seems to be running now, hopefully I'm not replacing the unit 3 or 4 years from now.

Wow! Forest River must be the last manufacturer to change to just in time supply management. Most manufacturers don't have 2 days stock. Never mind 3 years.
