Took our new 178 out this weekend for the first time and all in all it was a success! We have a few issues that the service department will need to take care of but still very happy with the Rpod. We were amazed at the attention we got from the other campers and how many wanted to take a look inside...they were especially impressed with the dome, which we were able to put up with little effort. Having upgraded from a pop-up we couldn't be happier Smile

Glad to hear about a wonderful first trip.

Sounds like you all did just wonderfully, very glad to hear it.  It's fun how much attention you'll draw in, and as you say the dome will be a great ice breaker.  Strangers will constantly want to know what it is!

Have fun with the tours, glad to have you out there Podding with the rest of us!

Glad you got in one last trip before winter! We just picked up ours last week and almost have it "trip ready". Helps that we had a camper before. Just had to figure out a few ways to store things differently. We did have them winterize things but may slip in a "driveway" camp out before the snow falls.

We are very lucky down here in Florida. Winter doesn't stop us, we've already booked our Jan & Feb trips!

Congrats on the new Pod.  I'm in the Pac North West and winter doesn't stop me either!  I had her out for a beach run last weekend.
