Hello everyone!   o/   I just finished my first two nights in our 2014 178 in southern Cali and have only one thing to say about it...PERFECT!!!  Just the right size for two of us and already feels like home. Towing with a 2014 Taco.  We will be dragging it to the Anza Borrego desert soon for a dry camp check-out.  I will post some pics as soon as I get them into the computer.

You didn't happen to see a couple of brown plastic chairs while you were there? Left them last time there. Did you get the 178 from Combs? We take delivery of our 179 on Thursday. After only one time camping, the wife decided we needed to buy something to camp in that didn't have a canvas floor. The 179 seems to fit our needs and it fits in the driveway. Getting very excited. Don't know where we'll do our maiden voyage; maybe Pio Pico or Potrero. Good luck with the rig.

Hello ICU warrior!
I notice you are towing your pod with your tacoma. How is that working out for you? I am also in SoCal and have been checking out the 178 Pod. I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD DCLB V6.
