Has anyone added a second battery? I am wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of and should I connect the batteries parallel? Will a second battery cause any problems with the converter?
Thanks for any advice.

The second battery should be the same size and capacity as the first one. You will need cables to connect the two batteries. I used Starter Cables that you can get at any auto parts store.
Connect the Negative terminal on one battery to the negative terminal on the other battery. Then connect positive to positive. Then connect the positve terminal from the Pod to the positive terminal on one of the batteries. The negative terminal from the Pod should connect to the negative terminal on the oposite battery. There should not be any issue with the converter. Some people say that for best results the batteries should be same make, model, and age. Mine are the same capacity but are not the same make and age and I have not had any issues. |
