We took our new 2015 R-Pod 178 to Lake Wenatchee State Park.  Beautiful place, quiet, roomy lovely but got eaten alive by Mosquitos so won't return.
First time we pulled a trailer all went well and we figure every time we go it will get easier.  We put a 3 inch gel topper on the mattress and bought memory foam pillows from Costco, made the bed dreamy. Didn't care for trying to make the bed or climbing over waking up my hubby to go potty but can live with it.
They showed us when you hook up your trailer, keep lifting it till you lift your car then you know for sure that you are latched in then lower it.  The dealer also told us that not to hook up to the sewer site till you are 2/3 full because #1 will float on by and solids will just sit and turn to sludge harder to flush out.
We enjoyed sitting at the table playing cards.  I have us going somewhere every month till November we are meeting friends in Tahoe.  Very excited for our R-Pod trips!
We bought a bigger black water hose then what will fit in the hose storage spot.  Any suggestions on what to store it in or how to make a store area for it?

Congratulations on your first trip! The bed is a pain, but it could be a lot worse if you were in a tent. You want to let your grey tank accumulate as much waste as possible toward the end of the trip, so you have a lot of relatively clean waste water to flush the hose out after you drain your black water. We just don't drain the black tank until the end of a trip. We always fill it with 5-10 full bowl flushes before draining. After a while you will not be able to trust your black fill indicator, unless you meticulously clean the tank after every use. Even if you do that, it may not be trustworthy. You don't want to empty a black tank that has two gallons in it, but we don't go nuts making sure it is 2/3rds filled. We always put a few extra gallons of water in before dumping it though.

Some do's and don't with sewage (your mileage may vary)

Don't leave the grey water valve open all the time when hooked up to sewer. That can allow very nasty gases in the trailer. learned this the hard way.

Don't leave the fan on when you flush the toilet. Learned this the hard way. The fan will suck some rather unpleasant odors out of the tank. Better save the fan for when you are done.

Don't flush dry toilet paper down. Get it wet by filling the toilet tank a little if you have to.

Don't operate the fan without at least a window cracked.

Try not to use the toilet (with toilet paper) just before dumping the black tank. The worst thing that can happen by my experience is having some toilet paper lodge itself on the blade of the black water valve. You will not be able to close it if that happens. That made for one of the most unpleasant experiences in my life, which was removing the valve, cleaning it, and then getting it back in place.

It isn't necessary to use RV rated toilet paper, but you must test what you do use. I wouldn't even trust all paper noted to be RV safe. Take one square of toilet paper and put in in a container that you can seal. Let the square soak for a minute. Then cover the container and lightly shake it. Look inside the container. If the paper is still intact it isn't safe for RV use. I wouldn't even use it in the home, but that is another story. If it has completely disintegrated it is safe to use everywhere.

Do hose out your black tank every once in a while. You can do that from above. They make special attachments for hoses to make this easier. You can even have an adapter fitted to your tank. Some RVs have this built into the tank. Not sure if Forest River is now doing this with the R-Pod.

We went up to Rasor State Park in Cement Wa. We had a great time, played cards, drank wine, it rained on us two out of the three days we were there. It was awesome. Can't wait for the trip to the Ocean at the end of this month.
