I am recaulking the bathroom. It looks like a team of monkies did it. When I took the drain off I noticed I can see water down in the drain. I thought I drained it all, guess not. Is that necessary and how to do it? I have never used the bathroom(would like to learn) but I think the previous owners must have.

There should always be water or in winter antifreeze in the traps, otherwise your pod will smell or stink
If you want something done right, do it yourself!
