Just thought I would share an item that I think is quite important but can easily be overlooked: Tow Hitch Ball and Tongue Adjustment.
We have a 2013 R177 HRE and bought it about 18 mths ago.  Today I thought it was time to check the trailer hitch attachment for correct fitting to avoid inadvertent trailer hitch detachment from the tow vehicle ball hitch.  I was surprised to find that I had to adjust the tensioning nut approx. four full turns. This is way too sloppy for safe trailering.  I don't think this had been adjusted by the previous owner and it was remiss of me to not check it out right after we purchased the trailer.

I don't think I am the only one to have found this so fellow Podders, please be aware.

You're right. My hitch came off the ball. Got it tight now!

That is regular ready to tow check item.  Everything should be tight and serviceable.  I actually lost a ball nut once.  Now I spot weld ball but to hitch.
