Just thought I would share the latest modifications to our 2013 177 HRE to add a clothing storage drawer realising it would necessitate adding a heater duct to redirect the airflow 90 ° forward as opposed to transversely across and under the bed onto the new drawer. The drawer runs on hardwood rails made from some left over oak flooring, held in place on the floor with screws and double sided adhesive tape. The duct was made up from 16ga sheetmetal created in CAD as three parts, and subsequently formed and welded together. There is an airspace between the base of the duct and the floor! I found screwdriver access holes in the duct needed to be added retrospectively to aid assembly/disassembly for future heater servicing requirements. The fixed bed support rail that is over the duct had to be replaced with a removable version, again for ease of accessibility. uploads/5689/Diffuser-CAD.png; uploads/5689/IMG_1299.JPG; uploads/5689/IMG_1305.JPG; uploads/5689/IMG_1306.JPG |
