Good for you, Roxy!

I'll never understand why some folks will spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on interior mods for their rpods yet won't spend less than $100 to be safe and to improve their towing experience.

Tell us about what happened that made you a believer (wind gust, oncoming trucks, emergency maneuver?). Maybe your experience will be useful to other members here.

Because you can't lay on a sway bar after you had a rough time recovering from a crosswind trip. LOL

Last summer, I came up on a towed rig that was wandering all over its lane and partially into the passing lane.  It was whipping sideways enough I thought that I better get beyond it.  As I passed the rig...a small SUV and an about 18 ft travel trailer...I noticed that the trailer did not have a WDH nor sway bars.  I bet every single thing in the cabinets and drawers were on the floor when they finally stopped to camp.  From the license plates, they had to have traveled at least 500 miles like that.
I would have been a total basket case if it had been me.

Now that is totally hilarious. I am ROFLMAO and unable to get up off the floor

You also completely sum up the point I was trying to make.

C'mon folks, get those sway controls on your rigs. You will be very happy that you did. They really don't cost that much.

I have sway control and am glad I do. Last year, traveling east out of Abilene, TX I was caught in a rainstorm. The rain was coming across the interstate horizontally. To say that I had a strong crosswind would be putting it mildly.

I never had a problem with the Pod. It towed like there was no wind blowing on the side of it. No sway, no bucking, no sudden jerking or such. I'm thankful for that because I was able to concentrate on driving and not on correcting for the Pod being blown around.

It was suggested that i share my experiences that made me a believer in a sway bar. In NM i was traveling on an up and down road (small quick hills) with sharp curves. The second time i had to apply my brakes for a quick stop. I could feel the trailer 'wave' back and forth behind me. I slowed down until it was under control. I was not speeding traveling around 50 the whole trip cause my gas milage was the worst. Up hill on '40' from barstow to NM, hills, head winds, etc.

BTW, i too have a problem with 'stuff' occasionally all over will the sway bar help that or just the EHitch?

From my experiences, the EHitch stops unwanted up-and-down motions.  My sway bars help reduce side to side motions (aka 'sway').

I don't have an EHitch so I cannot make a comment on that however since installation of the sway bar we have had zero issues with 'stuff' moving around inside the pod.  If you had to make an emergency stop or something similar, then you may have a few things move around.

Last fall we traveled for 14 days from Michigan to Montana and back again.  We had some really nasty roads in eastern Montana just outside of North Dakota on US-2 for about 10-12 miles, the top speed we could reasonably go was 35.  At times we were creeping at 10-15 because the pot holes and dirt road was so bad.  When we arrived at our destination later that day I was pleasantly surprised to find that nothing had moved.  As many previous posters have indicated, for the price of around $ 100 or less, it is WELL worth the few peso's spent, and we aren't even addressing the safety factor, which is even more important (IMHO) to me than stuff moving around inside.

We also did a lot of research, and eneded up with the E2 WDH, and our MPG tows better with the WDH.
