We were very happy to find Couch's on the internet.
Simply because we do most of our inquiries via this method.
Yes, the internet is a "sales" device, but it is one that everyone is using no matter what the product may be.
So I believe that "internet" dealers is a very "broad" statement.
We are so happy w/Couch's that we plan depending on them for our RV "happiness".
For some reason we know they are very well equiped to handle our problems.
We too have been there, and dealt w/them first-hand.
They didnt talk us into a Pod, we simply wanted one, and we drove to what seemed to be the most popular place for Pod-wanna-bees. Why ? I think its partly because there are alot of other Podders on this forum that praise Couch's and how doing business with them was a pleasure.
And now we have experienced it, we too feel it was a pleasure.
Nobody wants to pay MSRP, and these days hardly anyone does, no matter what your buying.
Getting a good price doesnt have to mean questionable service after the sale.
Like any other major market, the RV industry is hoping to suck you in and sell you all this "Kewl"
stuff to go along with your RV. AND WE LOVE IT !!!
We share informaton about products to consider, and not consider. We share our experiences with our very simular RVs, good and bad. And we look to each other for ideas and information.
Couch's seems to be a part of this "family", and they know it. They are really great people.
And I know that any issues we have with our Pods, they will listen w/both ears, and they also know that if they treat us right, we'll be back, again and again, as some of us may be in the RV
lifestyle for a long long time, and having a dealer as a friend (internet or not) will pay off 10-fold
in the future for everyone ! I think Couch's will be around for a long, long, time !
HAPPY PODing !!!

I purchased my Pod from Couch's. They are my local FR dealer and I found them via their web page. I suppose that makes them one of those "internet dealers".
I would caution you on the use of stereotypes. They are of no use on this forum or anywhere else.

I am 99% certain that RpodMan is a dealer. I personally filter anything he says - it appears he has an agenda. Not that he hasn't provided some good feedback at times. The contributions have been mainly positive.
This is not an attack - just my personal observation.

I, too, feel that RPodMan is a dealer. Dealers need to reallize that the world has changed with the invention of the internet. People, even those of us of the AARP age, use the internet. Even my 89 year old uncle uses his computer every day. We have all become more informed consumers because of it. I do not buy any large purchase without first researching it on the net. I feel that Jeff Couch is very savvy in using the net as one of his sales tools
I will say, however, that he would not be so successful with the Pod if his service was not as great as it is. Keep it up Couch's!!
Just my opinion.
By the way, has anyone figured out the subtle changes Rpodman mentioned in the paint scheme?

I can assure you I am not a dealer. I am pleased to see or hear from anyone that has a positive experience in dealings with their r-pod distributor. That is a major part of a successful transaction. My goal is not to deter anyone from having a less than desirable buying experience. However quite the opposite. I will be more careful in the future how I word my posts. As far as the subtle graphics changes, you will notice the 'O' in r-pod is a bit different, as well as the new 'eco-cosntructed' graphics added. |

Actually this forum welcomes all the owners, and those interested in being an owner, of the r-Pod.
Experienced campers are welcome no matter what device they may use.
First time RVers are welcome here too !
I believe that anyone that has interest in this industry, for what ever reason, should be welcome as well. People have knowledge, and knowledge is power. Whats so great about this r-Pod phenomenon and the people that own them, is that we all contribute constructively and therefore raising everyones awareness for our common interest, the r-Pod.
Helping each other along the way ...
HAPPY PODing !!!
