Just to confuse things more, I believe I used "sonar-ping" for attempting to describe the sound we were getting.
Could be the LP tank, could be the hose from the tank to the regulator, could be the
regulator. I plan on finding out as soon as it thaws here in April ....

Someone posted a fix with a mouse pad and some foam rubber, I had all that stuff out and ready when I took her in for the tail light to be fix and the tech put the it on for me. Without me even asking. So it's pretty muffled now. Even since I found this site I've never worried about being a Green Horn. There's hundreds of years worth of experience and knowledge on this forum and they are willing to share. LOVE YOU GUYS Lee So Roxy, PICs of your MODs I'm real interested in the 3 T.V. set up and shelves you put in? |

Hi Butterfly-Lee, Just had the mini wall unit installed. It will hold the 22 inch tv. The original is still where FR put it. The one over the bed has been wired and purchased BUT I put in too deep of a memory foam mattress. NO room. So -o -o- o I am going to switch out the deep memory foam (don't like it anyway) for the two bunkbed egg crate foam mattresses that came with the 172 ( as most already know, one is not soft enough). That should make the space available more condusive (sp) to the tv. I bought a 16 inch, flipable screen tv that can be put/stood in many positions - hanging , standing upright etc.
It is easy to buy but I am a techno idiot. Will learn eventurally to download, size etc. By the way - the lock on my 172 just broke Better locks are becoming a necessity not an option Forest River! |

I use both of the mattress that came with the 172 bunks, makes it a little tighter but a better sleep. I bought a 5" air mattress, and tried to use it on the bottom but it was to high. So Myra get the air on top (which she likes).
I'd really like to add something by the sink for storage and counter space. That's why I wanted to see your mini wall unit. Lee |

Will work on it just for you. Have another idea for a mini wall unit also. Mine was put next to the refrige with the thinking that I would need to attach it to the wooden casing around the fridge/microwave area. The trailer inside is NOT square so we/my friend just reinforced the panel over the furnace/water heater with another level of plywood and sat the unit on top of it. Used 4 screw that have some sort of casing to screw into to hold it in place. It is really sturdy. It still allows a person to sleep in the dining area and a place to sit. BUT since it does not need to be attached to the refrig area, I was thinking the area along the curve of the r-pod (from side to side) could be used for a low level shelfing area. It is almost impossible for an adult to sit under the curve. It is also over the outside storage area so access areas would not be hindered. Shelfing with baskets or customed made basket/boxes would work great. If not made to tall, a good size TV could sit there except when traveling and there would still be seating for eating! Which could still be used as a bed with the folding table attached.
Will get pictues soon. Roxy |
