What's a bypass? I have the 171, the hot water has worked great on the electrical setting during two camping runs. Tried the gas hot water during the walk through (about a month ago) and it worked fine.
I'm having a problem with the shower running. I will get it corrected at the dealership unless there is a simple fix as was suggested for the kitchen where a bunch of plastic collected in the fitting at the end of the faucet and reduced flow to a trickle.

the bypass is used for winterizing...on the 151 its located on inside under kitchen bench on same side/area as water heater access panel outside. there are 3 pipes, 2 red and a blue.check yours if possible so you know that's how it should be ,as your's appears to have valves/knobs in the right directions for hot water. my kitchen sink faucet was very slow, removed fitting and cleaned out debris. are you sure on your shower that the head is not in the off position ? there's a button you push to open for water flow and to stop water flow while showering without turning water off .

Thanks for the info on the bypass, I'll have to look for mine. Haven't seen any under the benches or the sink.
I'm sure my shower problems not the shower spray head off and on switch. This worked initially to turn the water off after the temperature was set but now it dips when off. It also drips when the faucets are turned off even when the spray is set to off. It worked fine the first time we had the camper off (both off and on knobs and spray off switch). It started to drip and wouldn't stop. I'm taking it back to the dealer unless someone suggests a simple fix similar to the sink faucet.
