msoctopus, please don't worry about it.  I hope that you've found most of us here to be friendly and welcoming.  On internet forums, there are always a few more aggressive posters that get up everyone's nose.  Please just take it in stride, focus on the benefits that a place like this allows, and help make our little corner of the internet a little bit better.

Oh My Stars !  Am I glad to see you join the forum ! Star  I thought I was the only idiot on here.  It is really good to have some company.  You know what msoctopus52,  You need to sign up for the 2010 Eastern US r pod Roundup and we can have an IDIOT'S convention concurrently and discuss all our problems.

There are only 166 days left before the big party begins.ClownClown

All idiot's are welcome and you sane people too.

Actually, it's more fun being an idiot.  People just say "Well you know he's (she's) an idiot" to any thing you do and you never have to explain yourself.Evil SmileThumbs Up

Mary, don't worry about it.  You are not the first person who posted there and you will not be the last.  It is not a problem.

What was your original question?  (did you edit it out?)...If you re-post  here or start another thread, I am sure people will respond.

OMG...166 days!!!  I cannot wait.  Is it Spring yet?  Ted and I want to get our baby out of storage and start working on some mods...(we don't want to look like total  slackers at the roundup)

I agree with Cindy.  Please ask your question again and someone will answer it for you.  We have a lot of expertise on this site and many people willing to help you out in any way they can. Approve

I, too, made the same mistake and was 'scolded' but not as loudly as you    I emailed the person in charge at the time to remove my comment and the 'no comments, please' was pure again and all was right with the world.

I do understand Terry's point, though, because we start a new post and after a few posts the comments take a different direction, although an important and informative direction, yet it does not have its own heading and is now difficult to find or categorize the info. The 'Search' heading helps but isn't always successful.

Maybe if we find a posting unacceptable or in the wrong place, a personal e-mail to that person with the information on how to remove a posting would be more appropriate.

I did not read into the original reply to be a "yelling/scolding" at, but more as a "bolded/highlighted" reminder. I believe that is all that was intended, as others may have taken it another way. (Everyone uses the bolds and highlights for different reasons) We all have our bad days and just got through the holidays.  Emotions can run high and low.  Maybe someone just had one of those kind of days.   As they say:

Forgiveness is a funny thing, it warms the hearts and cools the sting.

To err is human; to forgive, divine.
