Just got done with my latest mod. I added an outside water location so we can hose off dog crates, dogs, sometimes the pavement we are parked on.

This is the rough opening, it required a 2-3/4" hole saw.  Measuring was definitely the hardest part.

This is the backside. I removed the bed and the access panel behind the bathroom. The elbow is a 1/2 npt to 1/2 pex.

This is the backside of the shower.  I cut out the 90 degree joint in the pex in the lower right of the picture and install a 1/2' pex tee fitting.

I ran a short piece of pex off of the tee, into a shut-off valve and then a short piece into the water outlet.

This is the finished inside. I may make a box later on to cover the plumbing.

Finally, the finished outside with the 15' coil hose. The hose is a quick disconnect (like on an air compressor fitting).  Hope you like it, maybe get some ideas.

I will have to say that's pretty slick. Great idea!

Thanks, it should come in handy. I just looked at my pictures again and realized I need to add a little expanding spray foam insulation to the backside of the hole.

I just purchased the $4 connector with the faucet and added the small coil hose...works great.

That said...you did a great job!  Looks great.  My level of handyman skills, would prevent me from performing this mod Confused

That works too, and at a good price. I just wanted the water outlet curbside and to not stretch a hose under the pod. Plus, I like to mod and tinker, too many tools, too many ideas!

Great job.  This mod, along with the "window portal in the door" mod are my two favorites that I've seen people do on the R-Pod.
