We camp with our cat, Baxter.  My husband cut an entry into the underseat storage of our 172 and this is where the litter box is kept.  In the morning I sweep under the dining room table, lift the lid and clean out the box.  This minimizes the litter scatter.  In the day her food and water is near the bunk beds and at night they are set on top of the stove top area.  She has the best bed of all - the table...where she enjoys the nightly breeze blowing through her long hair.  Her she is seen enjoying her "take your cat to work day".

Hi There!
We just picked up our first RPod model 179. We have 2 cats that we plan to travel with this summer, and my husband had the same idea about keeping the cat box in the storage area. How big of a hole did you cut? Do you have a flap or any kind of cloth over the hole or is it just open for your kitty?

Thanks,
Gretchen

Keep the cat ideas coming! We just bought our r pod and will be traveling with our cat. Trying to come up with a safe outdoor shelter that can be accessed from the interior.

When I retire next year, we want to take a long trip.  We have two cats and want to bring them with us.  They are not used to being in a car or a camper.  Can anyone give us advise on how to travel with them?
