Looking at Airstreams and some of the other RVs out there, I'm wondering if we have a special number that's attached to our Pod? The mailto:T@B - T@B uses the last 4 numbers of the serial number. Do we have that?

Not sure what you're asking.  The serial number is the only unique identifier that I'm aware of.

I believe that every vehicle on the road has a unique serial number.  Certainly the Rpods do, also.  Safe Travels.

My guess is you are asking about the big red numbers on the front and rear of many/most airstreams.

That is the member number of the owner in the Wally Bynam Caravan Club International. (WBCCI)

It is issued to the member, not the airstream. For instance, we are member number 1265. Our 'stream has worn at least 3 numbers in it's life, and that number twice. I never took the time to find out anymore about the previous owner that had that same number, other than that they were from TX and had passed away. When we joined the WBCCI, we asked for one of the three numbers we knew had been on out trailer before, and that one (1265) was available..

Another member can pass us, or us them, then look in the membership book and see just whom you passed.. Kind of changes the whole "Pod Sighting" game... lol

Most podders seem to go with a name, rather than number..

What she's referring to is the fact that on the T@B users' group, their database lists each person's "identifying" number. All it is, is the last four digits of your T@B's serial number. Since they started with a very low number in the beginning and increased them sequentially with each production, folks with the very early T@B's had really low numbers. Many people have their T@B number in the signature line of their posts to the forum. Often, you can get an idea of someone's "longevity" as a T@B owner by seeing how low their serial number is.

I don't think they number the RPods sequentially the way they did for T@Bs, and I'm not sure that they still number the T@Bs that way after Little Guy took over production.

Hope this helps explain what she was inquiring about. It's a T@B thing. :)
