Pets are allowed on campgrounds at all Ontario, except for designated areas in four Algonquin Park campgrounds: Achray, Canisbay, Mew Lake and Pog Lake.
There are limitations at the Awenda, Balsam Lake, Pinery and Voyageur campgrounds. Pets are not permitted on beaches, other swimming areas or roofed accommodation sites like yurts, cabins or change rooms, and they must be on a leash 6 feet long or shorter. You must pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste in the garbage.Pets are not permitted to make excessive noise, disturb others or wildlife. Twelve Ontario campgrounds have exercise and beach areas (B, E) for pets. There are many other campgrounds within Ontario's provincial parks that feature either an exercise area (E) or a beach (B) for your dogs.
