Hi All, from Abbotsford, BC.  2 weeks ago at an outdoor archery shoot, I finally said no more!  I'm tired of sleeping in the back of my truck and in tents.  It was pouring rain, when I made that decision. Thumbs Down I went to a RV lot and took a look at 2012 RPod 171, they had on consignment.  It was love at first sight! It was in great shape.  Perfect size for me, and the dry weight of 2205 lbs, made it ideal for my 3.6 L Dodge Ram 1500.  I brought it home, 4 days ago, and have been setting it inside to my liking.  Tomorrow, I'm heading up to Kamloops BC, for another 3D archery event, and looking forward to camping out of the Ipod. Big smile

Welcome and you're going to love it! I got my 2009 152 last October, and just did my first real trip last week. Went trout fishing in Western Maryland, and the Pod was perfect. Poured one night very hard and the thunder was shaking the Pod...loved it.

I think Rpod camping is the best! We added a memory foam mattress topper.  Have fun, Linda

Hi River BC
Welcome to the R-Pod world.  I'm own my second one.  Started out with a 171 and now have a 2015 179.  Had heart surgery in April, so I just put a electric hitch jack on it.  Just 3 bolts and 1 wire, easy project.  I had a Denver short queen mattress, never liked it so I bought a pillow top twin to replace it
(I travel alone).   I also removed the plywood under the bed, covering the furnace/water heater, cut it in order to make it easier to service them.  So now I just have to remove the piece directlyover them.   Have a safe fun summer.
