Hello,

Could anyone comment on the picture of my water heater anode? Does it need replacing or is it still good for many years?
Thanks

It's good, however you should check it every year.  I replace mine when it is about 50% depleted.  But I pull it and clean out water heater ever year at end of season.  They are cheap.  A lot of the amount of deteororization is based on the water you use.  You'll get another season out of this one.

Bad, fine, new. As long as any of the "body" is still there, it's still doing it's job 100%.
